What You Will Do: As Designer / Developer, you will help shape Wonder’s products end-to-end, from research and design through to working code. Your responsibilities will include: Manage projects end-to-end — scoping work, setting timelines, tracking milestones, and coordinating across design, engineering, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.Wireframing, user research, prototyping, choosing colour palettes, and typography.Review and refine AI-generated HTML/CSS to ensure it's clean, error-free, and cross-browser compatible.Design and build interactive HTML prototypes.Provide strong design leadership influencing the development team towards design best practices.Define design philosophy and facilitate consistency in applications.Employ thorough knowledge of layout and aesthetic design concepts.Translate functional requirements into tangible designs.Researching user interaction design trends.Demonstrate understanding of user-centred design (UX/UI) techniques and principles.Work across frontend development (what users see/interact with) and backend development (servers, databases, and logic behind the scenes) to bring a digital product to life. What We Are Looking For: Degree or above in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Information System, or related field.2 – 4 years of experience in design & development role.Proficiency in frontend languages including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Lovable or Replit.Strong understanding of responsive design, web accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.Strong UX/UI design skills, with a portfolio showcasing a balance of aesthetic design execution and frontend coding projects.Experience with project management, including planning, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.Proficiency with AI tools and workflows (e.g. AI-assisted design, coding, or prototyping tools), with genuine interest in applying AI to accelerate product development.Plus: experience in Fintech or ePayment in Japan Companies.Fluency in both Japanese and English.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.Good interpersonal, influencing and ability to drive a diverse group including internal and external stakeholders.Committed, self-motivated and action-oriented personality with strong ownership.Plus: a "startup" mindset and the ability to work through any obstacles in your path.Proficient in MS Office.
