Most businesses operate with internal systems that are barely holding together.
At Tech Pipeline, we find the broken links in these processes and fix them so teams can get back to their actual work instead of fighting with their tools.
The role
Our partner is a Berlin-based technology firm that needs support maintaining the web-based tools their internal teams use every day.
As a Junior Web Developer, you will help us ensure their internal interfaces and data connections work exactly as they should without manual workarounds.
This is a fully remote position that focuses on building stable, functional tools rather than flashy consumer-facing sites.
What you will do Write and update clean code for internal web tools and administrative dashboards.
Trace data errors between different software platforms to find where the logic breaks.
Update and maintain internal documentation so other developers can understand the fixes.
Fix bugs in front-end interfaces that prevent staff from completing their tasks.
Review server logs to identify why specific API calls or form submissions are failing.
Assist in migrating data from legacy spreadsheets into structured web databases.
Test new features in staging environments before they go live for the partner team.
Collaborate with senior consultants to map out how information flows through the partner's systems.
What we are looking for A solid understanding of basic web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with at least one programming language or framework like React, Vue, or Node.js.
A strong interest in how business operations work and a desire to solve practical problems.
The ability to write clear, concise updates about technical issues and their solutions.
High attention to detail when looking at data tables and lines of code.
A logical approach to troubleshooting where you test one variable at a time to find a solution.
Persistence when a problem is not immediately obvious or requires checking multiple systems.
Willingness to learn new tools and software platforms as our client projects change.
What we offer A fully remote working arrangement that respects your time and personal schedule.
A permanent, full-time contract with a focus on long-term stability and professional growth.
Competitive pay that reflects the importance of this entry-level role in our projects.
Direct mentorship from senior practitioners who have spent years fixing complex systems.
A work culture that values deep work and written communication over constant meetings.
The chance to see exactly how technology impacts the day-to-day operations of a company.
Exposure to a wide variety of tools, APIs, and database structures.
How we work
We operate with a simple philosophy: we fix what is broken, document it, and ensure the team can handle it before we move on.
Our communication is almost entirely written, which means you will spend more time coding and less time in video calls.
We do not value long hours for the sake of appearances.
We value clarity, functional code, and systems that just work.
When the partner's process is stable and the friction is gone, we know we have done our job.
Every team member works remotely, allowing us to focus on results rather than location.
