Junior AI Automation Developer

The role We are currently helping a Berlin-based technology partner modernize their internal operations by connecting their legacy tools with newer automation platforms. As a Junior AI Automation Developer, you will help us build the logic that moves data between these systems without manual intervention. This is a fully remote position that focuses on the practical plumbing of business data. What you will do Map out data flows between different software applications to find where information gets stuck. Test automated scripts to ensure they handle common errors and edge cases correctly. Write clear documentation so the client's internal team knows how to maintain the tools. Check error logs daily to find why a specific record failed to sync or update. Set up simple logic steps to categorize incoming support tickets and internal documents. Update standard operating procedures when a process changes or a new tool is introduced. Clean up messy spreadsheets to ensure the data is ready for import into new systems. Participate in peer reviews of automation logic to ensure accuracy and reliability. What we are looking for A clear understanding of logical operators and basic if-then statements. Experience using Excel or Google Sheets for data organization and basic formulas. Comfort reading technical documentation for software APIs and integration tools. A habit of double-checking your work for accuracy before marking a task as complete. Excellent written communication for providing status updates and explaining technical issues. The ability to stay focused on a single task until the logic is fully solved. General curiosity about how different business departments like finance or HR actually function. Basic familiarity with any scripting language or low-code automation platform.
