Cloud/DevOps Engineer - III

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Cloud/DevOps Engineer - III to join a financial services company in CA. This is a 12-month contract to start with the potential for extensions. Pay: $95.00 - $105.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship. Description:We're seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and automation for a SaaS Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform. You'll own CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform reliability while working closely with engineering, security, and product teams.Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processesManage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)Deploy, configure, and support scalable environments across development, testing, staging, and productionBuild and maintain infrastructure for integrating multiple platforms and services via APIsDevelop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and operational workflowsDesign and implement observability, logging, and monitoring solutions for platform health and performanceProvide test execution infrastructure and integrate test automation into deployment pipelinesIntegrate automated security and compliance scanning into CI/CD pipelinesWork closely with engineering and security teams to build reliable deployment infrastructure Qualifications Required Skills:Master's Computer Science preferred5+ years of DevOps/Cloud engineering experience, plus 10+ years of relevant work experienceExpert-level experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized workflows (our CI/CD pipelines and test suites run in containers)Experience building and integrating APIs for platform connectivity and automationStrong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)Production experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)Strong understanding of observability, logging, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or similar)Excellent troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and deployment issues Priority Skills:Experience with SaaS/multi-tenant platforms at scaleExperience integrating multiple third-party platforms and servicesExperience with API testing and integration patternsWorking knowledge of NIST 800-53 security controls and compliance requirements Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms (SailPoint, Okta, Saviynt, etc.)Experience with disaster recovery planning and testingCertifications: AWS/Azure/GCP Professional, CKA, Terraform Associate Primary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
