Description

Responsibilities (add to Responsibilities section) Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical guidance, standards, and code review Architect and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks Translate prototypes and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible interfaces Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs, ensuring efficient data flow between front-end and back-end systems Contribute to full-stack development efforts as needed, including backend services, database interactions, and deployment pipelines Establish and enforce front-end coding standards, best practices, and component reuse across the team Partner with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser issues, and technical debt Participate in sprint planning, technical estimation, and architectural decision-making Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) throughout development Required Skills And Qualifications (Add To Skills Section) Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Full-stack experience, including backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, RESTful/GraphQL API design Experience with state management, component-based architecture, and responsive design Familiarity with version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud is a plus) Experience working closely with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure accurate implementation of accessible interfaces Experience working with tiered architectural systems and in a Linux/Ubuntu environment is a plus
