How does becoming the Founding Data Engineer at one of Europe's most exciting AI & Robotics companies sound?
I'm partnering with one of Europe's most exciting AI and robotics companies that's building technology at the forefront of Embodied AI.
Their products are already trusted by some of the world's leading technology companies and research institutions to generate the high-quality data needed to train the next generation of intelligent robotic systems.
As investment in robotics and AI accelerates, they're expanding their engineering team with a Data Engineer who wants to solve problems that very few companies in the world are tackling.
Rather than working on traditional analytics or business intelligence projects, you'll become the technical owner of the entire data lifecycle that powers AI training.
Working alongside AI Engineers, you'll design how multimodal data (including video, audio and sensor streams) is collected, synchronised, structured and delivered into cloud environments ready for machine learning.
This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, working with cutting-edge technology and building infrastructure that directly influences the future of robotics and artificial intelligence.
🧠 What the successful Data Engineer will need:
• 5+ years' experience in Data Engineering or a similar backend engineering role.
• Strong Python and SQL development experience.
• Experience building scalable cloud-based data platforms using Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of designing robust data pipelines and orchestrating end-to-end data workflows.
• Experience working with complex datasets such as video, sensor, audio or time-series data would be highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with AI and software engineering teams.
