The position You will be part of the end-to-end lifecycle of features, from concept to deployment and maintenanceYou will be part of an experimented team of developers, QA engineers, designers and product ownersYour code will be executed by millions of customers every monthYou will need to build and optimize UIs for TVs applications What We Expect From You 5+ years of relevant experience as JavaScript developer with React in TVs environmentExperience with monorepo (pnpm)Experience creating and maintaining re-usable UI libraries (Storybook)Experience with focus navigation systems on TVsExperience integrating a design system from Figma to the code baseExperience publishing packages using npm registryExperience publishing and managing TV applications (Samsung Seller office, LG store, Google Play...)Experience with the HTML5 video player and other players (hls.js, Shaka Player and or Dash Player)Experience with Video Ad Serving Template (VAST)Mater rendering performance on low performant devices like TVs and set top boxesExperience working with a dynamic product that requires changes almost every dayStrong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and modern frontend toolingExperience working with scrum and agile methodologiesBelieve in a very good testing strategyYou are comfortable researching new technologies and/or looking for the optimal solutionWork with backend engineers, product managers and UX designers to deliver polished featuresParticipate and assist in setting the long-term direction, roadmaps, and standards for the web app Stack ReactReduxNext.jsWebpackTypeScriptJest, Cypress, SuitestSmart TVs (Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS, Hisense, Philips...)AWS CloudFront, AWS S3 We’d Love To Hire Someone Who Is Communicative and social – We’re a friendly bunch and great communication is the key to our successDedicated to continual improvement – We want someone who is eager to pick up new skills and willing to try new thingsCollaborative and helpful – We go much further when we help each other improve whenever and however we canProblem solver at heart – We have loads of interesting challenges in our problem-space which require some creative thinking!
