Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Cloud DevOps Engineer / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, automate, and support AWS-based cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux automation, with the ability to independently deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, and Argo CD.Automate application deployments across development, QA, and other environments.Design and provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.Deploy, manage, and support cloud-native applications with a focus on scalability, availability, security, and performance.Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).Develop and maintain shell scripts and automation tools using Bash and/or Python.Collaborate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support cloud adoption and deployment automation.Implement enterprise cloud governance, security, cost optimization, and operational best practices.Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and cloud platform issues.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including:IAM, VPC, EKS, ECS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, Networking, StorageExpertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for AWS infrastructure automation.Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, and Argo CD.Strong knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployments.Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes workloads, including EKS and/or ECS.Strong Linux administration, command-line skills, and shell scripting; Bash and Python experience preferred.Ability to independently design cloud solutions from high-level business and technical requirements.Experience working in enterprise environments as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or Cloud Architect.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Associate or Professional Certification.Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, KCNA, or KCSA.Advanced production experience with Kubernetes.Experience implementing cloud governance, security, operational excellence, and cost optimization.
