About The Role The role owns the architecture, development, and scaling of core backend services powering user-facing applications and high-throughput APIs. The engineering team builds reliable, low-latency distributed systems using modern cloud infrastructure and microservices patterns to handle massive daily transaction volumes. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Python, or Go to support expanding product featuresBuild and maintain asynchronous processing pipelines and message brokers using Kafka or RabbitMQManage relational and NoSQL database schemas in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, optimizing query performance and indexingDeploy and orchestrate containerized services on Kubernetes and AWS, ensuring high availability and fault toleranceMonitor system health, latency, and error rates using Datadog and Prometheus, resolving production incidents proactivelyWrite comprehensive unit and integration tests, participating in rigorous code reviews and architecture planning What We Are Looking For 3–6 years of professional backend software engineering experience building distributed production systemsStrong proficiency in at least one core backend language: Python, Node.js, or GoHands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), caching layers (Redis), and cloud infrastructure (AWS)Solid understanding of system design principles, network protocols, security best practices, and CI/CD pipelinesBS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experienceBonus: Experience with event-driven architectures, GraphQL, or infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
