To learn more, visit formswim.com Position Overview We're looking for an Android Developer to play a proactive role in the design, development, and release of FORM's Android app. Reporting to the Mobile Team Lead, you'll contribute across the entire development lifecycle—from shaping requirements and UI decisions to building, testing, and deploying the app. We're looking for someone who takes pride in code ownership, values clean architecture, and is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences. Primary Responsibilities Design, architect, and build FORM's Android app with a modern and rich UIWork closely with UX and product teams to transform requirements and mockups to product featuresCollaborate with other developers to establish best practices for the teamParticipate in code reviews, design reviews, and architecture and coding practice discussions for new features and the overall appIdentify new mobile technologies, trends, and opportunities, and explain how they might relate to improving our products and businessMaintain the highest level of product reliability, code quality, and reusability by writing unit tests and integration tests to validate new software featuresAdopt AI-assisted development practices that improve team productivity and code quality Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as an Android developer. Working knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java within the Android ecosystemExperience developing native Android appsFamiliar with Android SDKs such as Jetpack Compose, Jetpack Navigation, and CoroutinesUnderstanding of MVVM architectureExcellent written and verbal communication skills Nice to Haves Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and IoT is preferred but not requiredCurrent with emerging AI technologiesUnderstanding of SaaS Working knowledge of CI/CD such as Jenkins We thank you for your interest in FORM and to everyone who took the time to apply for this position, however, only qualified applicants will be contacted. Most new hires do not start at the top of the range. Compensation is determined based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and overall alignment with the role. Candidates who are newer to this level of responsibility but demonstrate strong potential may receive an offer toward the lower end of the range. Offers at the higher end are typically reserved for candidates with extensive, directly relevant experience and a proven track record of success in comparable roles and environments.
