Job Title: Python Developer
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 days a week in office)
Mode of interview: Final Round In-person Interview
Domain: Banking / Financial
Strong hands-on Python development experience, particularly backend applications and microservices.Strong experience using AI/GenAI coding tools to support software development, troubleshooting, testing, and productivity.Good development experience with Unix/Linux and Shell/Bash scripting.Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases.Experience working with messaging technologies such as MQ.Good understanding of the complete SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.Good experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Exposure to TLS, SSL, HTTPS, firewalls, and application/network security concepts.Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and cross-functional technology teams.Exposure to tools such as Confluence, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.Experience with cloud technologies is an advantage.SWIFT and/or Sanctions domain experience would be a strong plus.About Iris Software Inc.
