Description

A fast-growing business in the technology consultancy space is looking for a Software Engineer. This role involves working on high-impact digital transformation initiatives within the public sector, focusing on building robust backend systems that serve the general public. What You'll Be Doing Developing scalable backend microservices using modern frameworks to support large-scale government platforms.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS and Kubernetes.Applying a consultative approach to problem-solving and solution building within an agile environment.Engaging with stakeholders to ensure technical requirements align with delivery goals and user needs.Maintaining high standards of code quality through continuous integration and delivery practices. What We're Looking For Extensive experience in backend development with a focus on microservices and Spring Boot.Proven track record working on central government transformation projects, ideally following GDS standards.Strong technical proficiency with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS and Kubernetes.Must hold active SC Clearance as a pre-requisite for this role.Ability to travel to London once per month while working primarily in a remote capacity.
