Description

Candidate will be responsible for building out the firm's strategic reference data platforms to serve businesses within client company. The successful applicant will take ownership of key projects and components and will be responsible for all phases of SDLC including analysis and design, development, testing and deployment. As a developer, the candidate will be responsible for developing & deploying technical solution following engineering excellence standards. A potential candidate will need to understand system and enterprise architecture concepts and will be expected to understand how all components fir together and impact one another. They will work with a global and diverse team of peers as well as liaise closely with Business Analyst, Production Support, and infrastructure teams. Responsibilities: Deliver assigned development projects withing agreed schedule, quality and scope expectationsParticipate in all stages of SDLC within an agile Scrum environmentForm partnership with technology vendors and gain deep understanding of productsEnhance/Re-architect existing components to satisfy new requirements in terms of performance and scalabilityProvide level 3 (escalation) support for the applicationMandatory Skills Description: At least 6+ years of experience with Java, and 7+ total IT experience.Experience/understanding with the following technologies:Java (Core, JDBC, MT, Collections, I/O), Spring BootSQL.PL-SQL on Oracle DBContainer platform based on KubernetesREST web services, Kafka, RedisUnix Commands and shell scripting.Familiarity with standard data structures and algorithms.Experience using the following tools - JIRA, Harness/uDeploy, SonarQube, TeamCity, Artifactory, Git (GHE & Bitbucket)Logical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; innovate and solutions orientedEffective time management skills to manage multiple priorities with flexibility on time zones and timelinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
