Note: Greenfield experience, good in system design, extensive AWS experience, integrating Java app with ML systems, and CDN/Edge as optional Job Description: Experience - 10+ years building production distributed systems AI-assisted development- Demonstrated proficiency with AI dev tools (GitHub Copilot, LLM-powered workflows, agentic coding assistants) - this is a key differentiator for how this team operates Greenfield builder- Track record of taking systems from 0 ® 1; comfortable with undefined requirements and rapid iteration Architecture- Ability to own and communicate system design decisions across teams; translate ambiguous product goals into technical plans Pace & ambiguity - Thrives in startup-like environments - fast tempo, evolving scope, small team with outsized ownership Mandatory skills: Java Backend- Spring Boot, Microservices, Oracle or similar databases Data science / engineering- Python, Databricks Cloud- AWS (primary) Edge- Edge workers, CDN-layer compute Languages- Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python AI/Data platform- Databricks, ML model registry Dev tooling- GitHub Copilot, AI-assisted workflows Desired skills* Identity, trust, or security domain experience (JWT/JWS, PKI, OAuth 2.0, bot detection, token verification)Databricks or similar AI/data platform experienceExperience with observability at scale (distributed tracing, structured logging, dashboards)Prior work on multi-party integration layers or network/platform servicesOpen-source contributions or community involvement
