Overview Of Role
WestJet's ServiceNow Platform Team is quickly evolving into an enterprise platform that enables better experiences, smarter workflows, and improved business outcomes across the organization.
We are seeking an Intermediate ServiceNow Developer who is passionate about solving real business problems through technology.
This role is responsible for designing, building, and supporting solutions on the ServiceNow platform while working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, process owners, and business stakeholders.
Success in this role is measured not only by technical delivery, but by the value created for employees, operational teams, and the business.
The ideal candidate combines strong development skills with curiosity, collaboration, and a desire to understand the outcomes behind the work.
Key Deliverables
Design, configure, develop, and support solutions across the ServiceNow platformBuild scalable workflows, applications, forms, catalog experiences, automations, and integrationsPartner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand business problems and translate requirements into effective solutionsContribute to enterprise initiatives that improve employee experience, operational efficiency, automation, governance, and self-serviceParticipate in solution design discussions, challenging assumptions and identifying simpler or more effective approachesSupport platform modernization efforts, upgrades, technical debt reduction, and continuous improvement initiativesHelp implement AI-enabled capabilities and intelligent automation opportunities where appropriateEnsure solutions are secure, maintainable, supportable, and aligned with platform standardsParticipate in lean, agile delivery practices like KanbanCollaborate across capability areas including Employee Experience, Guest Experience, Enterprise Services, and Business TransformationMonitor platform performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability, usability, and adoption
Experience And Qualifications
