The role We are looking for a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to design, build and develop the solutions that make up the Gridle platform. Our stack spans everything from low-level device control to cloud data pipelines, market integrations and web UIs. You will work across the stack, with the flexibility to focus where you deliver the most value. What You’ll Do Design and implement mission-critical software (Python, Rust, Typescript) across AWS cloud and edge devices. Build integrations to 3rd party market partners and/or low-level automation systems. You Will Work In Multiple Different Areas And Technologies, But You Can Choose To Dive Deeper On Some Based On Your Interests, For Example Quality, observability and CI/CD Cloud costs and AWS best practices Security Data storage and data pipelinesIoT systems Infrastructure as code Your background Core Strong experience in modern software development and product building Strong hands-on experience with AWS Experience with distributed, data-intensive systems Experience working with edge device software Strong plus Strong Python experience in mission-critical or data-intensive systems Real-time data pipelines / IoT / telemetry AWS cost optimization Energy markets or battery technologies Tech stack (typical) AWS (IoT Core, Greengrass, Lambda, S3, Firehose, Fargate, CDK), Python (FastAPI, pandas, asyncio), Databricks, Terraform, Rust, React, InfluxDB, MQTT, Modbus Why join us?
