We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our transformation initiatives and help build the data foundations behind one of the bank's largest migration programs. Working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technical teams, you will design and maintain data pipelines, improve data quality, and support the successful delivery of migration and transformation initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to reducing delivery risks, improving operational efficiency, and enabling better decision-making across the organization. How You Will Make an Impact: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data solutions that support business, analytics, reporting, and migration initiatives.Assemble, transform, and integrate large, complex datasets from multiple source systems while ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to improve scalability and operational efficiency.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.Troubleshoot data-related issues, perform data validation, and support the stability and performance of data platforms and integrations.Support analytical and reporting needs by providing reliable data foundations, data extracts, and trusted datasets for business users.Drive improvements in data quality, reliability, and monitoring across data pipelines and platforms.Follow engineering best practices, participate in peer reviews, and contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering processes.Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and data engineering best practices. What Makes You a Great Fit: 2+ years of experience working in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or a similar data-focused role.Strong SQL skills and experience designing and developing data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Pentaho, Talend, SAP Data Services, or similar.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and data integration principles.Experience with Git, DevOps practices, and deploying solutions to production environments.Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting/programming languages.Familiarity with Linux environments and data platform troubleshooting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex technical challenges.Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical data solutions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.A proactive mindset, attention to detail, strong ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level Why You Will Love Working Here: Flexibility.
