Job Description
Own and evolve our AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), ensuring scalability, reliability, and security by designDesign, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI), embedding security controls (e.g., SAST/DAST) directly into development workflowsLead monitoring and observability initiatives (e.g., Datadog), proactively identifying system risks and driving incident response and resolutionDefine and implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, RBAC, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hardening across environmentsDrive security initiatives such as patch management, threat detection (e.g., GuardDuty, Falco), and credential leak prevention across systems and repositoriesCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams, contributing to architectural decisions and leading security audits and compliance efforts
Qualifications
You bring 5+ years in DevOps/SRE and 3+ years in security-focused roles, with a proven track record in securing cloud-native systems at scaleYou have deep hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production environments, including strong knowledge of IAM and RBAC modelsYou are highly proficient in Terraform and CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI), and comfortable coding in at least one language (Go, Python, or JavaScript)You have solid experience with data storage systems (e.g., PostgreSQL) and a working understanding of data pipelines/ETL processes (e.g., AWS Glue)You have strong expertise in cloud security, monitoring, and observability, including tools like Datadog, GuardDuty, Falco, or similarYou are a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, comfortable working in Agile environments, and fluent in English
