Freelance Full Stack TypeScript Engineer Amsterdam | Hybrid | 12 Months I'm supporting an innovative fintech that's looking to hire a Freelance Full Stack TypeScript Engineer to join one of its engineering teams on a 12-month contract. You'll be joining a modern engineering environment where you'll work on large-scale distributed systems, helping to design and build backend services whilst also delivering key frontend functionality. Initially there is a strong focus on React development before moving into increasingly backend-focused projects, making this an ideal opportunity for engineers who enjoy working across the full stack. They're looking for engineers who: Enjoy solving business problems through technology.Can design solutions, not just implement requirements.Understand architectural trade-offs.Have worked closely with Product Owners and stakeholders.Can explain why technical decisions were made.Take ownership and challenge ideas constructively. Previous experience with AWS Serverless is highly advantageous, as it enables a faster onboarding into the platform. Experience with Python or Terraform would also be beneficial, but isn't essential.
