For our Client, a leading organization undergoing a large-scale technology transformation, we are currently looking for an experienced IT Director (Platform Engineering) to lead the development of a modern Platform Engineering organization and drive engineering excellence across the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building platforms, tools, and standards that enable product teams to deliver solutions faster, more securely, and with higher quality.
Your new role
Defining and executing the Platform Engineering strategy.Building and leading teams responsible for Internal Developer Platform, CI/CD, API Management, Observability, and Engineering Excellence.Driving DevSecOps, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.Developing standards for quality, security, reliability, automation, and developer productivity.Partnering with Engineering Leaders, Architects, and Product teams to shape the technology landscape.Managing the technology roadmap, budget, and strategic initiatives.Identifying and implementing AI-driven solutions supporting the Software Development Lifecycle.
What you'll need to succeed
8+ years of experience in senior technology leadership roles.Proven background in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Developer Experience, or Cloud Infrastructure within enterprise environments.Strong expertise in cloud technologies, Kubernetes, distributed systems, CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code.Experience with Monitoring, Observability, and SRE practices.Track record of building and scaling technology teams and leading organizational change.Experience collaborating with product-oriented organizations.Fluency in English and Polish.
