Frontend Developer 2 days in London office £62,500 to £77,500 About the role A growing climate tech company is hiring a Frontend Engineer to help build a data-heavy B2B platform used by policymakers, planners, and investors to model energy systems. You'll work on a modern, greenfield React/TypeScript codebase, with real autonomy in a small, ambitious team. Responsibilities Deliver frontend features end-to-end, working closely with product and design to build high-quality user experiences using React and TypeScriptImplement complex UI patterns including data tables, filtering workflows, virtualised lists, and interactive data visualisationsApply performance optimisation techniques for large datasets and visualisation-heavy workloads, and help evolve the frontend architecture with reusable, composable componentsMaintain high code quality through testing, code review, and CI/CD practicesCollaborate with backend engineers and contribute technical input during agile planning, refinement, and delivery Requirements 3+ years building production frontend applications with TypeScript and modern ReactProven experience building complex, data-heavy UIs — tables, filtering, forms, and interactive visualisationsSolid understanding of frontend performance principles: profiling, reducing unnecessary renders, and working efficiently with large datasetsExperience with client-side data management patterns (e.g. TanStack Query) and testingExperience building accessible, reusable UI components with modern tooling such as Tailwind
