We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives in a leadership role, takes full responsibility for outcomes, and applies innovative thinking to both architecture and operational processes. The right candidate will have a proven background in building, automating, and supporting enterprise-level cloud environments, with deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and cloud reliability. Responsibilities Build and maintain robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructureCollaborate with development and operations teams to enhance deployment strategies and system efficiencyDevelop automation for infrastructure setup, configuration, and monitoringAdvocate for and implement CI/CD processes and standards across projectsAddress and resolve issues in production and testing environmentsUpdate and refine documentation for systems, workflows, and operational guidelinesEnsure security and compliance are integrated into all cloud operationsMentor team members and share expertise in DevOps practices and cloud technologiesTake part in incident analysis and drive improvements for greater system reliabilityIdentify and introduce new tools and methodologies to strengthen the DevOps landscape Requirements Minimum three years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineeringAt least one year in a leadership or team coordination rolePractical experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS, for designing and managing cloud solutionsDemonstrated success in supporting high-availability, business-critical systemsExperience in enterprise environments with complex application portfolios and multiple stakeholdersHands-on involvement in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based architecturesAdvanced skills with Kubernetes for orchestrating and managing containersProficiency in Python for scripting and automationExperience with at least one statically typed, object-oriented, managed-runtime language such as C# or Java for backend and automation tasksStrong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools for managing cloud resourcesFamiliarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and release management platforms like GitLab to optimize software deliveryEnglish language skills at B2+ level or higher, both written and spoken Nice to have Knowledge of Azure Automation Account and Azure Virtual Machines for automating Azure resource managementMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate credentialsMicrosoft Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional certifications for advanced cloud designKubernetes certifications such as CKA or CKAD to demonstrate proficiency in Kubernetes administration or developmentTerraform certification to validate expertise in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform We offer International projects with top brandsWork with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peersHealthcare benefitsEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
