Summary

A technology organization is seeking a senior deployment-focused DevOps engineer to deliver and support complex customer environments. You will work across Kubernetes platforms, public clouds, infrastructure as code, automation, networking, security, Linux, and CI/CD, including challenging air-gapped deployments. The role also involves troubleshooting, technical oversight, mentorship, and enterprise-scale system administration.

Description

Act as a "deployment engineer" and perform the customer deployment with required skill set: Experience with containerization, specifically Kubernetes, OpenShift, and RancherUnderstanding of Cloud APIs and Cloud technologies specifically Azure & AWSTerraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, or equivalent toolsExperience with Zarf to support Air gapped deploymentExperience with networking and network/system security, Storage, including firewalls, VPN, routing, switching, load balancers, monitoring, security, and DNSExperience with shell scripting - sh/bash/kshExperience with open-source tools (Linux, Python, Git, Ansible)Experience with system automation at the enterprise level, distributed environmentsSenior-level system administration experience, including troubleshooting, support, mentorship/training, and oversightAbility to adopt and extend continuous integration and testing processes, GitLab-CI experience preferredAbility to manage goals, track milestones, and report on the status .
