About This Job: Medior+ Front-end Developer We are looking for a Medior+ Front-end Developer to join our team and help develop mission-critical applications that operate 24/7. If you're passionate about React, modern front-end engineering, clean architecture, and building software that has real-world impact, this is an opportunity to work on systems that support one of Europe's most important logistics hubs. What You'll Do Develop and modernize the HaMIS (Harbor Master Management Information System) using React and TypeScript.Modernize legacy applications and migrate functionality to modern front-end technologies.Build reusable, well-tested UI components.Improve code quality through clean code practices, automated testing, and front-end architecture.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, business consultants, QA engineers, and fellow developers in Agile teams.Contribute to technical design decisions and software architecture.Resolve production incidents and help maintain highly available mission-critical systems.Champion secure software development and continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 4+ years of professional experience with React.Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.Extensive experience with unit testing and component testing.Experience using Playwright and Storybook.Strong understanding of front-end architecture and reusable component design.Knowledge of secure software development practices.Ability to understand back-end services (Java knowledge is a plus).Fluent Dutch (spoken and written).Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after onboarding. Nice to Have Kubernetes experience.CI/CD (GitLab).Microservices architecture.Performance optimization and troubleshooting.Network troubleshooting.Experience integrating with back-end services.Experience working on mission-critical production systems.
