As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll help build and evolve the core backend services that power our internal platforms, enabling teams across the business to access accurate, timely, and scalable data.
You’ll work on backend systems that need to be dependable and easy to evolve, collaborating closely with product managers and fellow engineers to deliver APIs that are well‑designed, performant, and built with long‑term quality in mind.
This is a role where you’ll combine hands‑on engineering with collaboration and influence, shaping both the solutions you build and how the team builds them.
What you’ll be doing
Designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScriptDeveloping robust APIs that support our internal platforms and reporting needsWorking closely with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutionsEnsuring data is accurate, consistent, and scalable through effective database integrationsContributing to code quality, performance, and practical engineering standards across the team
The skills and experience you’ll bring
Strong experience building backend services using Node.js and TypeScriptConfidence working with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB, and ORMs like Prisma or SequelizeExperience designing and maintaining APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)An understanding of how to build secure, reliable backend systemsClear communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem‑solving
Nice to have (but not essential):
Experience with authentication and security conceptsFamiliarity with event‑driven systems or messaging toolsExposure to testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms
