Description

Summary- As a Kubernetes Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining scalable deployment and integration frameworks for modern, cloud-native applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build robust CI/CD pipelines, optimize Kubernetes environments, and ensure high reliability and performance across deployments. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Docker images and Helm charts for application deploymentEnsure integration with third-party tools and providers, including:HashiCorp VaultBitnami SealedSecretsCert-manager and trust-managerMultusDesign and implement CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins:Application and documentation buildsLab/environment deploymentsAutomated regression testingSupport Kubernetes-based application deployments and lifecycle managementCollaborate with engineering teams to improve automation, deployment efficiency, and system reliability Job Requirements: Strong functional knowledge of Linux (RHEL or equivalent)Proficiency in Bash scriptingExperience with Python 3Solid understanding of Git version controlFamiliarity with Kubernetes concepts, including:Controller types and their usagePod lifecycle and health checks (probes)Service types and networking behaviorPersistent volumes and claims, especially in StatefulSetsWorking knowledge (or willingness to quickly learn) Helm 3+:Chart structure and subchartsTemplate customization and templating functionsDeployment lifecycle (install, upgrade, hooks, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Knowledge of:OpenSearch / ElasticsearchApache KafkaMariaDBKeycloak Work Environment & Culture Work independently while contributing to a shared team effortBuild solutions with long-term consistency and maintainability in mindImprove existing systems while remaining open to thoughtful architectural changesStrong code review culture:All code changes are reviewed before mergingShared ownership of code across the teamBalance innovation with alignment to established standards and practices
