Department Overview The department is responsible for supporting and developing Middleware usage for applications used by worldwide users. We seek innovative and agile people sharing our mindset to support ambitious and forthcoming technology challenges for IT production team in information system Asia Pacific, and IT center for both IT production and application development. A technical expert that will leverage on automation and develop continuous delivery operations. Leverage on automation practices and tools to increase service value and develop continuous delivery operations. Key Responsibilities The engineer will be onboarded under the Platform Services team and will primarily work with cloud and container platforms. Our team manages global production services and project delivery across Web and Application Services, Cloud Platforms (AWS/GCP), and Docker/Kubernetes clusters, including but not limited to: Global production service operations support within Platform ServicesAccountability for the overall reliability, availability, and stability of services across the defined technical scopeProvision of technical expert support for managed workloads, including analysis and resolution of incidents, problems, service requests, and change management processesPartnership with development, project, and business teams to understand requirements and technical specifications, and to contribute to project deliverablesPromotion of a culture of continuous improvement in the production environment through automation, manual optimization, and performance hygieneTechnical analysis of production platforms to identify and remediate performance issuesCollaboration across teams and development of meaningful working relationships to achieve common goalsEngagement in DevOps disciplines, including CI/CD, Continuous Testing, Continuous Monitoring, and Continuous ComplianceOperation and ongoing enhancement of middleware platforms and their associated interfacesDevelopment of self-service interfaces and related workflowsOwnership of specialist responsibilities in strategic projects and initiatives Qualifications and Profile Minimum bachelor's in computer science / information technology / computer engineering or equivalentMinimum 5 to 8 years of experience in the following technical platforms:Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, TerraformContainer Platforms: Docker/KubernetesScripting tools: Java, Unix Shell, Bash, Python, PowerShellMiddleware Technologies: Websphere, Jboss, Wildfly, Tomcat, Apache, KafkaGood understanding of ITIL Service Management framework such as Incident, Problem, and Change processesUnderstanding of LLMs, AI Archictecture patterns (RAG, Agentic, MCP etc)Experience in one or more of the following technical platforms:Jenkins, Ansible, Elastic Search, Rundeck, GITMonitoring and Data analytics tools: Nagios, OMI, ServiceNow, GeneosAble to work on shift and with on-call support on rotationExcellent communication, interpersonal and logical skillsCustomer service oriented and a strong team player Advantage if you have the following: Cloud and DevOps engineering experienceExperience working in the banking / financial institution We offer a competitive remuneration package, consistent with your qualifications and experience.
