A growing technology team is seeking a proactive Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain backend application features. You will work with Node.js and non-relational databases, build distributed and scalable systems handling high transaction volumes, collaborate with product leadership, and contribute to agile Scrum delivery.

Description

Node.JS Summary We are looking for a pro-active, analytical team player to join our growing team. You will have an entrepreneurial and empathetic mindset that propels you to commit to delving deep into the user experience, the challenges they face and how to improve the product. You'll also come with strong collaboration skills, and the ability to document proper requirements for short term and long-term projects. What will you do? Design, development and testing of new features in our applicationsImplement, test, and bug-fix functionalityWork with and support our product manager on new initiatives and features developmentParticipate as a team member in fully agile Scrum deliveries What are we looking for 5+ years experience developing application in Node.jsExperience with MongoDB or other non-relational databasesExperience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applicationsFollow best pratices and design patternsGood communication skills Why Chaser?
