Role: Platform Engineer

Salary: £55,000-£65,000
We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join the technology team.
This role will play a central part in managing and automating our hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure, working closely with the Technology Director, Development and IT & Systems teams to drive automation, reliability and operational excellence across our technology estate.
Our infrastructure spans multiple cloud providers alongside on-premises environments, supporting a fast-growing, high-volume e-commerce platform.
You'll champion Infrastructure as Code, develop robust CI/CD and deployment pipelines, establish comprehensive observability, and help drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices across the engineering organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of our platform, improving infrastructure automation, deployment strategies, monitoring, security and operational excellence whilst collaborating across Development, IT & Systems and Data teams.
You'll also contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and mentoring, helping to build a culture of continuous improvement.
