Infrastructure DevOps Engineer (Junior/Associate) Full Time Experience Level: 1–2 Years Amman, Jordan May 2025 On-site Role Summary We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to help us bridge the gap between development and operations. In this role, you’ll focus on automating deployment pipelines, maintaining cloud infrastructure, and ensuring our systems are scalable and secure. You’ll be the “glue” that keeps our code moving smoothly from a developer’s laptop to production. Key Responsibilities CI/CD Management: Build and maintain automated pipelines that take code from commit to production safely and quickly.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Define and provision infrastructure using tools like Terraform to keep environments consistent and repeatable.Cloud Operations: Maintain and optimize our cloud infrastructure for reliability, performance, and cost.Containerization: Package and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Monitoring & Alerting: Set up observability so we catch issues before our users do.Collaboration: Work closely with developers to streamline workflows and remove friction. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 1–2 years in a DevOps, SRE, or SysAdmin role.Scripting: Comfortable writing automation scripts in Python or Bash.Linux: Solid working knowledge of Linux systems administration.Version Control: Proficient with Git and branch-based workflows.Networking: Understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS).Mindset: A “fix it once” attitude — you automate the things you do twice.
