Senior Production Engineer (DevOps)

Come work with top global talent on the latest technology to deliver a state-of-the-art platform. ------------------------- [A Lot About You] As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for production operations, capacity planning, performance management, deployment and release engineering. You will work with multiple cross-functional teams helping deliver the new and better experiences to our users while ensuring reliability and performance of the services. You are the type of person who will jump in to debug and fix things, multitasks and context-switches well. You have a strong understanding of best practices across a variety of disciplines including: Web Operation, System Administration, Release management, Performance Engineering and Network Operations. ------------------------- [Your Day] ・Function as a technical generalist responsible for the overall health and performance of E-Commerce systems ・Primary responsible to online alert monitoring, and incident handling in a standard procedure of notification, problem resolving, fail out to BCP and escalations ・Develop tools to automate the deployment, administration, and monitoring of Linux and Microsoft Windows servers . ・Work with development teams or other supporting groups to harden, enhance, document, establish process and generally improve the operability of our systems ・Assist in the configuration/build-out of new deployments to facilitate our constant growth ・Maintain in-house development and production environments by complying with the concepts of DevOps or Service Reliability Engineering ・Must have on-call rotation and work with the frontier operational teams in worldwide ・Better have the hands-on experience on one of the CI/CD tools------------------------- [Required Qualifications and Skills] ・Education background in Computer Science or equivalent majors ・Fair verbal and written English communication skills ・Strong hands-on experiences on the LINUX environment with the ability to navigate, manipulate and understand the kernel technology. ・Good knowledge of TCP/IP network environment, load-balancers, DNS and other internet protocols ・Good knowledge on change, incident and BCP/DRP technologies ・Excellent skills to effectively communicate via phone and in writing ・Good self management skills, must be a self initiate and able to manage work priority effectively ・Working experience with other functions like Product, Software Development, Customer Service or Infrastructure related ・At least one year of experience on using UNIX shell script or other programming language on UNIX based platforms
