MeeBoss is sharing this active opportunity on behalf of Spaire, a financial infrastructure company that helps digital creators and SaaS startups scale globally by acting as a Merchant of Record for billing, tax collection, and compliance.
About the Role
The team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into high-performance applications.
Responsibilities
Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and testable code for new features and systems.Participate in the design of scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.Engage in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and planning to deployment and maintenance.Perform unit, integration, and system testing; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.Participate in code reviews and advocate for best coding practices and standards.Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and applications.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Propose upgrades to existing systems to improve performance, scalability, and security.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.2-5+ years of professional software development experience.
Required Skills
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or C#.Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases.Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with microservices architecture is preferred.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is preferred.Experience in optimizing application performance is preferred.
Pay range and compensation package
$90,000-120,000/year
