Cloud Delivery Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Delivery Engineer with deep expertise in Terraform and Ansible to automate, provision, and deliver infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. This role is central to enabling fast, reliable, and repeatable cloud delivery across engineering teams, with a strong focus on infrastructure-as-code and configuration management excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, build, and maintain Terraform modules for GCP infrastructure including GKE, Cloud SQL, Networking, IAM, and GCSDevelop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, application deployment, and operational automationOwn the end-to-end cloud delivery pipeline: provisioning, configuration, testing, and deployment to productionIntegrate Terraform and Ansible workflows into CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CIImplement GCP IAM policies as code, enforcing least-privilege access and separation of duties across environmentsManage Terraform state backends using GCS and enforce module versioning and registry standardsPerform infrastructure drift detection and remediation using Ansible and Terraform plan workflowsBuild reusable, well-documented Terraform modules and Ansible collections for use across delivery teamsCollaborate with security teams to embed compliance controls into infrastructure pipelinesSupport GKE cluster provisioning and day-2 operations using Terraform and HelmParticipate in architecture reviews and provide IaC recommendations for new GCP workloadsContribute to internal developer platform tooling for self-service cloud provisioning REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong IaC focusExpert-level Terraform skills including module development, remote state, workspaces, and provider managementStrong Ansible experience including roles, inventories, dynamic inventories, and Ansible VaultSolid GCP knowledge covering core services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud SQLExperience managing GCP IAM programmatically using TerraformFamiliarity with GitOps and CI/CD integration for infrastructure pipelinesUnderstanding of GCP networking: VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, Cloud NAT, and DNSExperience with Linux systems administration and shell scripting PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certificationHashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certificationExperience with Packer for VM image automationFamiliarity with GCP-native development and serverless services (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)Experience with Vertex AI infrastructure provisioning using TerraformKnowledge of policy-as-code tools such as OPA, Sentinel, or Checkov CORE SKILLS & TECHNOLOGIES Terraform, Ansible, GCP IAM, GKE, GCP Native Dev, Cloud Build / CI-CD, GCS State Backend, VPC Networking, Helm, GitOps, Python / Bash, Checkov / OPA
