Description

Job description: DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team delivering a major renewable energy project in North Queensland. This is a site-based position suited to candidates located in the Townsville region or those looking to FIFO from Brisbane on a 14 days on, 7 days off roster. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Contracts Manager, you'll provide commercial leadership across the project, overseeing complex contractual matters while mentoring and supporting the Contracts Administrators. You'll play a key role in contract administration, subcontractor management, commercial reporting and risk management to help drive successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead contract administration and provide guidance to the Contracts Administration team. Manage subcontractor commercial performance, variations, claims and contractual notices. Support project reporting, cost control, risk management and commercial governance. Mentor and develop Contracts Administrators while fostering collaboration across the project team. Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to achieve successful commercial outcomes. Profile description: A tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator on major infrastructure, civil construction or renewable energy projects. Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts, subcontract management and commercial risk. Proven experience mentoring junior commercial team members and supporting project delivery. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
