Lead Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Lead Full-Stack Developer to spearhead the development of our next-generation, high-performance web applications and scalable backend services. In this role, you will bridge the gap between frontend excellence and robust backend architecture, leveraging a unified TypeScript stack (React/Next.js on the frontend & Node.js/NestJS on the backend). As a technical leader, you will own the end-to-end software development lifecycle—from UI/UX implementation and strict type-safe contracts to database design and containerized deployment. You will drive engineering excellence, define architectural standards, and mentor a team of collaborative developers in an agile, fast-paced, on-site environment. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Architecture Full-Stack Ownership: Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure full-stack applications using React, Next.js, and Node.js.Type-Safe Ecosystem: Treat TypeScript as an architectural design tool. Enforce strict typing conventions, design shared type libraries, and establish type-safe data contracts between the frontend and backend.System & Database Design: Architect scalable backend microservices, optimizing data layers using PostgreSQL, caching strategies via Redis, and event-driven workflows utilizing Kafka.API & Service Design: Design and implement robust, performant RESTful APIs and federated GraphQL schemas that are secure, clean, and well-documented.Frontend & User Experience Excellence Modern Web Apps: Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces utilizing Next.js (SSR, SSG, App Router) and React (Hooks, Context, Custom Hooks).Component & State Design: Design reusable UI component libraries and manage complex, typed state management systems (Zustand, Redux Toolkit).Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues, bottlenecks, and optimize for Core Web Vitals.Engineering Excellence & DevOps Integration Modern Workflows: Manage shared TypeScript packages and codebase modularity using monorepo setups (Turborepo, Nx).Containerization & CI/CD: Utilize Docker for local development and containerized deployments. Collaborate with the Platform Engineering team to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and GitOps delivery.Quality & Security: Enforce code quality through comprehensive unit, integration, and E2E testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). Ensure strict compliance with security protocols (OAuth, OWASP top 10, OIDC).DORA Metrics Champion: Monitor and improve team velocity and reliability by tracking key DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, MTTR, Change Failure Rate).People & Agile Leadership Mentorship: Mentor, coach, and guide mid-level and junior developers, conducting rigorous code reviews with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and type safety.Agile Governance: Partner with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and DevOps Engineers in an agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning, system design, and retrospectives.Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical architectures into clear business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: Required Skills Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 1–2 years in a tech lead or senior-level role.Frontend Mastery: Advanced proficiency in React.js, Next.js (App Router, Server Components), HTML5, and CSS3.Backend Mastery: Strong proficiency in Node.js and its ecosystem frameworks (NestJS, Express), with a solid understanding of asynchronous programming and microservices architecture.TypeScript Expert: Deep understanding of advanced TypeScript concepts (generics, utility types, discriminated unions, strict mode, and schema validation libraries like Zod/Yup).Databases & Messaging: Practical experience with PostgreSQL (SQL/ORMs like Prisma/TypeORM), Redis (caching), and Kafka (event streaming).API Integration: Expert-level knowledge of consuming and designing RESTful APIs and GraphQL (Apollo, urql).DevOps & Tools: Experience with Git/Bitbucket workflows, Docker containerization, and modern monorepos (Turborepo, Nx).Language Skills: Good command of both Thai and English.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Polyglot Mindset: Experience with, or a strong interest in learning, Golang for high-performance backend microservices.Cloud-Native Awareness: Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs): Familiarity with self-service developer portals (Backstage, Port.io).AI-Assisted Development: Experience utilizing AI tools for code generation, automation, and optimizing workflows (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
