Responsibilities
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to help operate, improve, and support the cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling behind TeamViewer's SaaS products, especially our solution Frontline.
This role is suited to someone who is comfortable contributing across cloud infrastructure and automation, while continuing to develop their technical depth with support from experienced engineers.
Support the design, build, and maintenance of highly available, secure, and scalable Azure cloud infrastructure supporting TeamViewer’s global SaaS platformOperate and maintain Kubernetes-based containerized platforms, leveraging GitOps workflows for declarative infrastructure and application managementContribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and operational workflowAssist in the implementation of robust monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to ensure platform visibility and high service healthProactively identify and resolve performance, security, and scalability bottlenecksParticipate in compensated on-call rotations to respond to incidentsLeverage AI-powered tools and automation to improve troubleshooting, documentation, and engineering productivity in a compliant and efficient mannerCollaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and Platform teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing SaaS services
Requirements
A university degree or education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related fieldHands-on experience with one or more of the main cloud providers, preferably Microsoft AzureProficiency Proficiency in using Kubernetes and Docker container managementSolid background in working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI or GitLab CI/CD Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like TerraformFamiliarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar technologiesUnderstanding of GitOps and source control management tools like Git backed by scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) Solid fundamental knowledge of network, security, and cloud infrastructureGood knowledge of the HTTP protocol and how HTTP-based microservices workStrong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset supported by excellent collaboration and communication skillsFluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
