Your Mission Drive the development of a future-proof, highly available cloud architecture, optimize the performance of our core applications, and ensure maximum system reliability through robust CI/CD pipelines and state-of-the-art observability solutions. Your Key Responsibilities Design, build, and scale our cloud infrastructure, including networking components such as VPCs, DNS, routing, and load balancing.Take ownership of the infrastructure behind our business-critical Java and PHP applications, focusing on deployment, performance, and reliability.Develop and enhance our monitoring and observability stack (e.g., Grafana) to ensure system visibility and proactive alerting.Optimize our AWS-based platform for high availability while contributing to our long-term cloud-agnostic strategy.Strengthen our infrastructure security by implementing modern cloud-native solutions and security best practices.Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable deployments and resilient infrastructure operations. What you need to succeed Several years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role.A structured, hands-on, and self-driven approach, combined with strong communication and collaboration skills.Solid experience with Linux administration, networking (VPCs, routing, DNS, firewalls, VPNs), and cloud infrastructure.Practical knowledge of AWS (or Google Cloud / Microsoft Azure), Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and Docker.Experience operating and optimizing Java and PHP applications in production, including CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or the ELK Stack.A pragmatic approach to AI-assisted engineering workflows, with an awareness of security and code quality considerations.Excellent written and spoken German and English.
