Full Stack/Backend Developer – XRP Ledger

About VS1 Finance VS1 builds institutional financial infrastructure on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), focused on tokenization, lending, and regulated market structure. XRPL provides protocol-level primitives (not smart contracts), which are accessed via APIs and SDKs. We are not modifying the XRPL protocol. We build products on top of existing XRPL features. Role Overview We are hiring a Full Stack / Backend Developer to design and implement production systems that leverage existing XRPL primitives (MPT token standard, Lending Protocol, etc.) and connect them to off-chain infrastructure. You will work closely with product and technical leadership to translate financial flows, protocol primitives, and system diagrams into secure, scalable backend systems and user-facing applications. Responsibilities Integrate and orchestrate existing XRPL features via RPC/WebSocket APIs and SDKs.Build backend services to manage transaction construction, signing flows, sequencing, batching, and monitoring.Design blockchain data APIs and indexing layers.Connect XRPL workflows to off-chain systems (integrations with oracles, custody, compliance tools).Build and maintain UI components that interact with blockchain and external services.Ensure secure key-management integrations and custody-grade transaction handling.Extend and maintain VS1’s existing codebase (not starting from scratch). Required Experience Strong systems programming background (C++ preferred)Experience building against blockchain RPC APIs and SDKs.Deep understanding of transaction lifecycle, signing, sequencing, and state management.Strong backend engineering skills (API design, event-driven systems).Experience integrating multiple systems into a cohesive end-to-end product.Ability to reason about financial flows and settlement logic.Nice to Have XRPL or Stellar Blockchain experience.Experience with custody or institutional transaction flows.Some Frontend experience is a plus (React or similar).Experience working with oracle and database integrations Way of Working Product and tech leadership define flows of funds, system architecture, and integration diagrams.Via collaboration, you translate these into production-grade systems and collaborate with design and product to ship end-to-end solutions. We already have foundational XRPL integrations live, including UI and AI components. You will build on and evolve this existing infrastructure.
