Head to getyourguide.careers to take the first step. Team mission We're rethinking what it means to lead paid social as the precision work of the last five years (hand-tuned bidding, manual audience-building, keyword-level control) gets absorbed by the platforms. What's left is a bigger job: building the systems that the channel runs on, rather than running the channel by hand. We're looking for a Head of Performance Marketing, Paid Social to own Meta as a core growth engine for GetYourGuide, and to build the infrastructure around it that reaches well beyond one channel: a creative engine that feeds marketing and product more broadly, incrementality as a continuous validation layer for our core campaign pillars, and an agent/MCP layer that handles the operational grind (budget shifts, feed exclusions) so the team's time goes to the decisions that matter. This is an individual contributor (IC) role for someone who thinks in systems first and is still hands-on enough to build them. Your mission Scale Meta 10x: You will own the paid social strategy on Meta and lead the full stack of activities, including bidding, the complete user journey on Meta, tracking, and measurement. You will set iROAS, ROAS, and spend targets for the channel. Advance bidding and automation: You will develop advanced bidding and budget allocation strategies on Meta, and stay ahead of automation and platform innovations. Build the systems layer: You will design and own the capabilities that sit underneath the channel rather than the channel itself, an agent and MCP layer that automates budget shifts, feed optimization, reporting, and campaign QA, so execution scales without scaling headcount. Strengthen measurement and tracking: You will move measurement beyond attribution through triangulation, validating channel contribution across incrementality testing and platform-side signals to inform budget decisions, and building incrementality into a continuous engine rather than a one-off test. You will also own the tracking setup that underpins it, including pixel and CAPI implementation and data quality. Partner cross-functionally: You will partner with Creative, Product, Measurement, and beyond, feeding a creative engine that serves marketing and product more widely, and collaborate with colleagues who own our other paid social channels, to grow Meta in line with the latest platform, measurement, and AI innovations. Your toolkit 6+ years of hands-on paid social or performance marketing experience, or a mix of paid channel and product/analytics experience, with a proven track record of scaling a channel significantly while maintaining or improving efficiency. Strong systems thinking: comfortable zooming out from campaign-level execution to design the capability or process that the work should run on, not just optimising what's in front of you. Deep, hands-on expertise across the full stack of Meta activities, or equivalent depth in another major paid channel with a clear path to picking up Meta specifics quickly: campaign structure, bidding, the full user journey, catalog/feed, pixel/CAPI, tracking, and creative testing. Fluency with Meta Ads Manager, Smartly.io, and creative automation platforms (or fast learner, if coming from an adjacent channel or analytics background). Working knowledge of AI and MCPs applied to marketing workflows, including agentic automations and connecting LLMs to ad platforms, analytics, and creative tooling. Deep expertise in measurement triangulation across incrementality testing and attribution, and in the tracking setup (pixel, CAPI, server-side) that supports it. Advanced analytical skills; comfortable with SQL and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, data visualisation tools). Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence senior leadership. Ability to balance short-term performance with long-term customer value.
