As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll influence the technical direction of critical platforms, solve complex engineering challenges, and help build the capabilities that power millions of customer journeys. You'll join our Software Engineering Chapter, where you'll collaborate with talented engineers, architects, and product teams while helping drive our evolution toward Agentic Software Engineering. Through AI-assisted tooling and intelligent workflows, you'll help unlock faster delivery, higher quality, and greater engineering impact across our teams. How you'll make an impact: Design and deliver scalable REST APIs and event-driven microservices that support millions of customer interactionsLead the development of cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS technologiesDrive architecture decisions that improve reliability, security, scalability, and performance across distributed systemsMentor and coach engineers, fostering engineering excellence and knowledge sharing across the chapterChampion modern engineering practices, continuous improvement, and AI-assisted software developmentPartner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products that create measurable customer value What we're looking for: Extensive backend software engineering experience within modern cloud environmentsStrong expertise designing APIs, distributed systems, and microservices architecturesDeep experience with Java and Spring BootStrong experience with AWS and event-driven technologies such as KafkaProven ability to influence architecture, technical direction, and engineering standardsWillingness to mentor others and enable high-performing engineering teamsCuriosity for emerging technologies, including AI-enabled software engineering If you meet the majority of the criteria and are excited by the opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
