About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with active DV clearance to join our dynamic team in London, Bristol, or Manchester on a hybrid working basis.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure digital solutions tailored for Defence and Security clients.
As a key member of the development team, you will work across the entire software development lifecycle, delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure applications that support mission-critical operations.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including product owners, designers, architects, and delivery teams, to create user-centric products, integrate modern technologies, and leverage cloud platforms and emerging technologies to enhance operational outcomes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in full stack development, with experience in secure and regulated environments.
Essential qualifications include proficiency in modern front-end and back-end technologies, excellent programming skills in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#, Python, or Node.js, and familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications.
Experience working within Agile environments, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, is crucial.
An active DV clearance is mandatory for this role.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications utilizing both front-end and back-end technologies.Create secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications and services aligned with client requirements.Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, architects, and delivery teams to develop user-centered solutions.Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications to ensure seamless functionality and security.Participate in solution architecture, technical design, and technology selection to optimize system performance and security.Implement software engineering best practices, including conducting code reviews, automated testing, version control, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application performance and security issues promptly.Produce comprehensive technical documentation and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.Support continuous improvement initiatives, mentor junior team members, and promote knowledge sharing within the development team.
