Description
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Design and develop modern end-to-end web applications (frontend, backend, API layer), integrating AI functionality directly into daily workflows.
• Make LLM-based features and AI services productive, from intelligent search to automated workflows, ensuring concepts become stable and secure features.
• Orchestrate AI backends, REST APIs, and data flows into a clean architecture, creating clear interfaces and ensuring reliable, performant, and secure data transfer.
• Ensure quality and scalability by thinking in scalable systems, establishing tests, observability, and monitoring, and taking responsibility for solutions in operation.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineering, business departments, and product owners on architectural decisions, shaping technical standards in the AI application environment, and elevating the team through knowledge sharing.
What You'll Need
• Several years of experience in developing modern web applications across the full stack (frontend, backend, APIs), ideally with tech stacks like TypeScript/React or Angular on the frontend and .NET/Java/Node.js on the backend.
• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Medical Informatics, Mathematics, or a comparable field, with a focus on delivering clean models, code, and architectures.
• Demonstrable experience in integrating AI services and LLM features into productive applications (e.g., via REST, gRPC, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI/similar APIs), and turning prototypes into robust, maintainable interfaces.
• Solid knowledge in connecting REST APIs, data pipelines, and cloud services, with a strong awareness of security, performance, observability, and maintainability.
• A strong ownership mindset, high quality standards, and a passion for sharing knowledge.
You communicate confidently in German and English and thrive in interdisciplinary, international teams.
