About The Role Our client, an innovative technology organization operating within the travel and mobility sector, is seeking a Mid-Level Web Developer to join their expanding engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of scalable, cloud-based applications that support high-volume, user-centric digital experiences across international markets. As a key member of the development team, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from initial design and architecture to deployment and ongoing optimization. Working with modern frameworks and cloud technologies, you will help deliver secure, high-performing applications in a collaborative, agile environment. The position is based in Brighton, offering a flexible work arrangement with four days in the office and one day remote. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in software or application development, demonstrating a strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core. A solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js is essential. Candidates should have experience designing and optimizing RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and performance tuning. Knowledge of SQL Server and exposure to NoSQL databases are required, along with hands-on experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform is highly desirable. Additionally, strong problem-solving skills, excellent debugging abilities, and a good grasp of Agile development practices are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using .NET technologies, ensuring high performance and security standards.Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions to align with business goals and technical best practices.Develop and manage cloud-native applications leveraging AWS and/or Azure cloud services.Build and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs to facilitate seamless communication with third-party systems.Design, optimize, and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases to support application data needs.Support the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of applications.Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements to enhance user experience and system reliability.
