Summary

An experienced Platform Engineer is sought for a permanent hybrid role focused on enterprise analytics platforms and cloud infrastructure. You will administer complex platform environments, manage Azure and Kubernetes services, build CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines with infrastructure as code, integrate enterprise systems and identity providers, and ensure security, governance, reliability, and high availability.

Description

Employment: Permanent Role Experience: 7+ years Location: Sydney, Australia - Hybrid Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to work in Australia (Citizen, PR, Valid Visa holders). Key Responsibilities: Administer and support SAS Viya 4 and SAS 9.4, including upgrades, patching, and migrations.Deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure cloud services.Build and maintain CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines using Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Bitbucket.Integrate SAS with enterprise systems, Snowflake, and identity providers (Entra ID, LDAP, SAML/OIDC).Troubleshoot platform, infrastructure, and Kubernetes issues while ensuring security, governance, and high availability. Required Skills: Strong experience with SAS Viya 4 and SAS 9.4 administration.Hands-on experience with Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, and Linux.Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, and CI/CD.Knowledge of Snowflake, Azure storage services, and PostgreSQL.Understanding of RBAC, DevSecOps, Agile (Jira/Confluence), and enterprise security best practices.
