Backend Engineer

This is an elite-tier startup backed by major financial institutions. They are building infrastructure and products at the frontier of decentralized technology — systems where scale, reliability, and performance are not nice-to-haves. We can say this: You’ll work directly on core backend infrastructure, designing and operating systems that need to perform reliably under demanding production conditions. You’ll own meaningful problems from first principles through production, with the autonomy to shape architecture, engineering standards, and how the system scales. You’ll have real ownership across backend architecture, distributed systems, data infrastructure, performance, reliability, and production operations — working closely with Product and Engineering to turn ambitious ideas into resilient, production-grade systems.
