Your Role As a Backend Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend applications that process large amounts of operational and business-critical data. Working in an Agile environment, you'll collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Solution Architects, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and DevOps specialists to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions. You'll have the opportunity to work on modern cloud-native architectures while contributing to systems that are essential to the daily operation of the energy network. What You'll Be Doing Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.Build reliable microservices that support critical business applications.Develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.Monitor application performance and proactively resolve production issues.Contribute to continuous improvement within Agile Scrum teams.Support the migration and modernization of existing applications toward cloud-native environments. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and thrives in an environment where software directly contributes to society. You bring: Several years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
