Mobile & Backend Engineer (React Native) 📍 Location: Berlin (Hybrid) 💰 Salary: Up to 80,000 euros 🕒 Type: Full-time This is a true full-stack product engineering role where you'll own features from the mobile app through to the backend services that power it. Working within a small, high-performing Product & Tech team, you'll build customer-facing experiences, backend APIs, and internal tooling that directly impact thousands of users every day. With short decision-making cycles and plenty of autonomy, you'll see your work go from idea to production in days rather than months. What You'll Be Doing Build and ship new features across a React Native mobile applicationDevelop backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScriptWork on customer ordering, loyalty, rewards and payment experiencesBuild integrations with payment providers, POS systems and third-party servicesDevelop internal tools that support day-to-day operationsImprove application performance, reliability and observabilityCollaborate closely with Product, Design and Operations to deliver new features quickly What They're Looking For 4+ years' experience building production mobile applicationsStrong commercial experience with React Native (Expo desirable)Solid backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScriptExperience designing and building REST APIsKnowledge of MongoDB or other database technologiesExperience shipping apps to both the Apple App Store and Google Play StoreStrong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality Nice to Have Experience with Stripe or payment platformsExposure to AWS cloud servicesExperience with POS or retail technology integrationsGerman language skills Why Join?
