Software Developer – Medical Imaging

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for medical imaging products.Design, implement, and deploy backend services and APIs.Analyze new feature requirements and break them down into development phases and technical tasks.Develop and optimize database solutions using relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following software design principles and coding standards.Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture discussions.Collaborate with Product Management, QA, Clinical, and cross-functional engineering teams.Manage development activities using Jira or Rally.Use version control systems for source code management.Support software deployment and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues throughout the development lifecycle. Qualifications Work Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.6-8 years of experience in software development.Familiarity with healthcare imaging and interoperability ecosystems, including DICOM, PACS, HL7, and FHIR.Experience working with image visualization, image analysis/processing, or 3D reconstruction software solutions.Knowledge of software development processes within FDA and EU MDR regulated environments.Demonstrated experience in designing, deploying, and operating applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, with preferred expertise in EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, and CloudFormationStrong programming skills in C++, Python, and JavaScript.Experience developing web applications using React or Angular.Experience building and deploying backend services and RESTful APIs.Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design principles, and software design patterns.Experience with unit testing frameworks.Experience in NodeFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Experience using Git, Perforce, or similar version control systems.Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.German language proficiency Technical Skills Programming Languages: C++, Python, JavaScriptFrontend: React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3Backend: REST APIs, MicroservicesDatabases: SQL, NoSQLCloud: AWS (EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, and CloudFormation)DevOps: CI/CD, Build & Deployment FundamentalsVersion Control: Git, PerforceProject Management: Jira, RallyTesting: Unit TestingSoftware Engineering: Design Principles, Design Patterns, Agile Development
