Job Responsibilities We are seeking a .NET Developer to join our team in Calgary. In this role, this individual would be responsible to design, develop and support systems in an exciting manufacturing environment that utilizes current IT technologies to deliver production critical solutions using lean and agile programming methods. This position would report to the Director, Information Systems & Tech. Contribute your technical and professional skills in a team environment that works on applications utilizing:Industrial computers over wireless networksIntegrated client/server environmentAutomation and control through a variety of Industrial protocolsInnovation to design and develop customized process feedback solutionsCollaborate onsite with our Production, Quality, Health & Safety, Maintenance and Shipping teams to gain knowledge of the different systems they work withContribute towards design, development, maintenance of proprietary software applications to enable effective functioning of manufacturing systems Education And Requirements 5+ years of experience designing, developing and deploying applications within a Microsoft .NET environmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldTechnical strengths in several of the following Microsoft technologies:Visual Studio VB / C# / ASP.NETVisual C++SQL Server and Management StudioWindows Presentation Framework (WPF)Windows Communication Framework (WCF)Entity Data Model (EDM)Reporting ServicesExperience with SCADA HMI development using Proficy iFIX or WinCC and PLC communications would be considered an assetProfessional verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProven ability to balance multiple prioritiesCollaborative team player, open minded and innovativeApplicants must be comfortable in an industrial setting and be willing to take after-hour calls in a 24 x 7 manufacturing environment Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!
