The Role: We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our growing technology team. Required Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on API testingProven experience testing RESTful APIs in FinTech or other highly regulated domainsStrong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST principles, status codes, and API lifecycleHands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similarExperience validating complex JSON payloads, headers, and error responsesStrong knowledge of test case design, test data preparation, and defect managementExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environmentsSolid understanding of financial workflows such as payments, transactions, settlements, or account managementExperience testing APIs integrated with third-party payment providers or banking systemsFluent in English, both written and verbal. Technical Skills Manual API testing experienceExperience with database testing using SQL and validating transactional dataFamiliarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys)Experience with version control systems such as GitWorking knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated API testsExperience testing role-based access control and audit logging Preferred Qualifications Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)Exposure to microservices-based architecturesHands-on experience with API automation frameworksProficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Java, Python, or JavaScript)ISTQB or other relevant QA certificationsUnderstanding of data security, encryption, and secure API practicesDemonstrable fluency with AI development tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent) as part of your day-to-day workflow.
